FIFO fitness and health
Built for the people
on the roster.
You do the twelve-hour shifts, the night switch and the goodbye at the airport. This fits around that, not on top of it.
On your swing
Nothing extra.
Nothing against you.
No extra time.
Twelve minutes at pre-start, in paid time, in work gear. Nothing after a twelve-hour shift.
Nobody sees your answers.
Surveys are anonymous. The site gets group numbers, never names, and nothing is used for fitness-for-work.
Your body, the next 20 years.
Backs, shoulders and knees, looked after now, so the job doesn't take more than it gives.
The swing is a family roster.
Day one home shouldn't be a write-off. There's a plan for the night switch, the sleep reset and the first day back, with short sessions partners and kids can join.
Fitness for miners
Built for the body
the job uses.
What does fitness for miners look like here?
Short, practical sessions for what mining work wears down most: backs, shoulders, knees and grip. Done at pre-start, in work gear, led by qualified practitioners. No gym, no app.
Is there anything for my days off?
A simple plan for the swing home: the sleep reset after nights, movement you can do with your partner and kids, and how to head back rested instead of wrecked.
What about FIFO mental health?
Strain and stress are part of the program, not an extra. Anonymous surveys show the site where the pressure sits, and where the site sets it up you can talk to a qualified counsellor in confidence, within the limits of the law.
Will my results be used against me?
No. The site only ever sees group numbers, never names, and nothing is used for fitness-for-work decisions.
